What is the Whale Coast Directory?
The Whale Coast Directory is an online platform showcasing businesses, services, specials, events, and attractions across the Cape Whale Coast region — covering Rooi Els, Pringle Bay, Betty’s Bay, Kleinmond, Botrivier, Hermanus and surrounds, Stanford, and Gansbaai.
How many listings and users does the directory have?
The directory currently features 500+ listings, including local businesses, attractions, hikes, and beaches. We receive over 2,300 monthly views and attract more than 400 new users every month.
How do I list my business?
Getting listed is a quick online process. Simply complete the listing application form and choose from three options: Free, Standard, or Premium. Once submitted, we’ll review your details and send you an invoice (if applicable). Your listing goes live within 24 hours of payment.
How long does it take for my listing to go live?
Listings are usually approved quickly. Once payment is confirmed (for Standard and Premium listings), your business will be visible in the directory within 24 hours.
Can I promote my event or special?
Yes! You can list events and specials for free. Just complete the quick online submission form and we’ll do the rest.
What advertising options are available?
In addition to directory listings, we also offer banner advertising and social media promotions. Contact us to discuss the best package for your business.
How do I search the directory?
You can start by browsing categories on the homepage and then filter results by location. You can also use the keyword search feature to quickly find what you need.
What areas are covered?
We cover the Cape Whale Coast towns: Rooi Els, Pringle Bay, Betty’s Bay, Kleinmond, Botrivier, Hermanus and surrounds, Stanford, and Gansbaai.
How long is my listing valid for?
All listings are valid for 1 year from the go-live date. Before your listing expires, we’ll reach out to you with renewal options so you can continue showcasing your business.
How do I update my listing?
If your details change, simply email or WhatsApp us with the updates, and we’ll make the changes for you.
Can I add the Whale Coast Directory to my mobile home screen?
Yes! You can add the Whale Coast Directory to your mobile device’s home screen for quick access:
