Born from the ashes of the 2019 Kleinmond wildfires, the Kogelberg Biosphere Wildlife Rescue and Training Centre is a story of compassion, community, and conservation. Guided by Corlie Hugo and Michelle Watson, the centre has grown from a volunteer effort into the first licensed wildlife rehabilitation facility in the Western Cape, rescuing and rehabilitating animals while training future wildlife professionals.
